Currently, the world faces a significant conflict between national sovereignty and the rising ideologies of communism, globalism, and Islamism. This struggle extends beyond Canada, impacting nations worldwide.

In the ongoing debate about the USA and Trump, it’s crucial to acknowledge the USA’s vast natural resources, large population, significant GDP, and formidable military force. The current leadership is clear about its stance on nationalism, with a focus on “Make America Great Again.” Public perception of Trump is heavily influenced by the CBC and mainstream media, often presenting a misleading narrative. If the US ever considered “annexing” Canada, it would be only out of necessity and could be executed swiftly.

Historically, the US has been unlikely to allow a hostile foreign power to establish itself along its border. As long as Canada’s interests align with those of the US, Canada hasn’t needed a large military presence, benefiting from the US’s protective umbrella. The US remains committed to preventing any hostile entities—whether communist, globalist, or Islamic—from forming on its northern frontier. If Canada significantly deviates from US interests and poses a threat, actions might be taken to protect US priorities, regardless of public outcry.

The current Canadian government is seen by some as a dictatorship lacking a true mandate from its citizens. If Trudeau oversteps, he might discover the extent of US power. Many recognize these as extraordinary times. Currently, two major conflicts are unfolding—one over territory and another rooted in ideology and religion. While many believed such issues were behind us, the current situation suggests otherwise. Trump has already influenced the Israel conflict and might be working towards resolving the war in Ukraine. Conversely, Trudeau appears not to be acting in Canadians’ best interests.

Some acknowledge it’s not “business as usual,” while most remain unaware. Diplomacy should come first, but other options might be necessary. The largely peaceful era we’ve enjoyed since World War Two is precariously balanced. Trump and his team are aware of this. Is Canada?

What can we do as individuals? While options may be limited, we can speak up when our beliefs are questioned or challenged. It takes courage to oppose accepted narratives. The people of the USA voted their true thoughts, and if Canadian polls are accurate, most Canadians also sense something is seriously wrong with the current agenda. Apparently, we are the majority, so why should we fear the opinions of those who seem confused or misguided? I am not advocating aggression but encouraging the courage to stand against policies and actions we believe to be wrong.
