Yes indeed, we face a dilemma. Representative governments are failing because many politicians are just opportunists looking to benefit themselves. We are all to blame for getting too comfortable and just letting someone else “watch the store” while we watched TV, water-skied and over indulged in food, drink and an easy life. So the question is (obviously) what can we do to correct the situation?
In my view fortunately (for humanity) a character like Donald Trump shows up, who could just sit back and suck the tit of the wealthiest country in history or an Elon Musk who could just coast at this point, but for some reason (probably multiple reasons) they decided to risk their lives and leisure to DO SOMETHING.
Fully agree, that @PierrePoilievre is not a true leader or warrior statesman on the level of @realDonaldTrump, @elonmusk, @RobertKennedyJr , @VivekGRamaswamy , @JMilei or even @TulsiGabbard , But he could be in a position to oust Justi-boy, who in my person opinion is actually evil. Not lazy, not stupid not simply confused, but the puppet of some very deliberate and (yes) evil agendas. @PierrePoilievre is simply a product of the lazy, fat and evermore corrupt “western society” that we have devolved to. In my view we do have some possible warriors in or mist, a bit early to tell but @KevinVuongMP could be one, and possibly @RaquelDancho. Again still too early to tell.
But in my view, the system itself is not worthless, but the opportunities for corruption and manipulation are simply so great and so easy that in many, maybe most cases, the people who get into government AKA politicians are people who see how the system works and realized that all they have to do is “act”, lie, smile, shake hands and tell various groups of people what they want to hear, get elected then feed at the trough.

Pierre has risen to the necessities of the times occasionally, but then reverts to being an actor. But maybe he needs to get elected, as that is the game we have set up. On the other hand we have a Trump, who does piss-off a lot of people and could be an ego maniac, but on the other hand he does what a true leader does, he says; This is where I stand, this is what I believe, come along if you like. At a fundamental level he is honest (or at least appears to be). He is a human being who holds certain beliefs, they may very well be self-serving, but they may also simultaneously serve the greater good. I think @PierrePoilievre has the potential to step up. I am not really betting on it as I think he is too much a product of the soft and secure life and culture he spent most of his life in, but he is intelligent. He could recognize that he is (as corny as it sounds) at a turning point in history, he could see that he could be the one who makes a difference.
Well that’s about all I have for right now. Except to say, I don’t think the fundamental principles of a reprehensive government is worthless, but it is seriously flawed and in need of a major remodel. Which will take real effort. But I don’t think it is impossible. I also feel that why it will take specific legislation, and some people may have ideas of where to start, more importantly it is going to require the right people (like Trump, Musk, Vivek, Javier, Kennedy, @DrJBhattacharya , maybe @KevinVuongMP etc) to feel it is worth getting involved in “politics” or maybe rather “leadership”
I would love to hear what other people think. oh, btw I will leave this link which mostly just contains a bunch of videos that I think have some wisdom in them.
and an example of an actual leader who does not mince words.
I think president Trump is well aware of who Mr. Trudeau is. I suspect Mr. Trump does not want a Communist totalitarian government on his northern border.
